Nothing But Wild

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.I really liked this book! I was excited to start it because I love P. Dangelico, I think her writing is amazing and this did not disappoint. There were a lot of things I liked about this but also a few that I didn’t. I’ll start with the things I liked. I really liked the slow-burn in this book, that for the majority of the book they were really friends and we as readers got to see that friendship build which was super nice. I also liked that this one was very different than the last one in the series because I really liked the last one except for the ending. I also love how P. Dangelico writes the meetings of the characters, it’s always such a good first meeting like that there’s instantly a story. I also really liked that the friends that were in the last one were also in this one and that it was about Dora who had such a great story and Dallas who was great in the first book and such a great friend to Reagan. On to the things that I didn’t like so much. I didn’t really care for that weird twist at the end, I felt like it was thrown in there because she realized she needed something more but I honestly don’t think anymore was needed. Additionally, I just think there were a bit too many loose ends, there were still a few things that after the book I was like huh? I guess that was resolved which I wish it was a bit more definitive. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I give it 4 cups of tea. – Hannah
