It was great, I loved the internal conflicts along with the conflicts between the two characters. I loved the vocabulary, this book made me feel like I wasn’t reading a trashy romance, but a novel with steamy encounters. The mental health awareness in this novel was fantastic as well. Overall, loved it and you didn’t need the previous books in the series to read this one! I love reading series out of order and this didn’t make me think I should go back and read the other book! If you did read the other novel, Marcus and April were in this book too! -Phoebe ❤
