Okay so I’m iffy about this book, there are some parts that I really liked but there are other that I didn’t. So I’ll start with what I did like. I liked that we as readers were kind of thrown into a story, I really like that I find that it’s the best way to begin a book. It’s so much easier than setting the stage and then slowly introducing the characters to each other. I’d rather have whiplash than fall asleep from the beginning. I also really liked Alex Parker once things started to progress and I really liked Charlotte and I thought they were cute together. On to the things I didn’t really like, I thought it was weird how one second she’d go from completely hating him to being in his arms. I just felt like something was missing and it might just be me but I didn’t really feel the connection. I felt like there was a spark missing in this book and coming from reading Samantha Whiskey which is all about the spark, I just couldn’t get into it. In general I just found it to be too wishy washy but the story itself was cute. Overall, I give the book 3.5 cups of tea. – Hannah
