Enforcer

I really liked this book too, which is a standalone but it is the second book in the Seattle Sharks series the first of which being Grinder (which I reviewed here: Grinder). I thought this book was really cute and had a lot of strong points but there were also a few things that I really didn’t like. I thought that Paige and Rory were really cute together and I loved watching them fall but I also felt like they had already fallen a lot previously to the book so if you’re looking for a slow burn kind of romance this is not it. However, that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t still a great book which it was. I also just absolutely love the side characters, getting to see Bailey and Gage a lot was great and knowing that they’re doing so well but that they’re story isn’t ruined by the one being told. I just absolutely loooooove Jeanine. She’s so funny and such a great side character and I’m really excited to read her story because I know it’s next. I think my biggest issue with this book was that the end felt slightly rushed and that I felt like there were some things that just weren’t brought together in the end. Like the whole thing with her dad that like it seemed like she forgave him so quickly after such an amazing walk out scene that honestly made the whole book for me. Her telling him off was everything, I was like finally she did it because the standard to which she was held was absolutely ridiculous. Anway, I really enjoyed this book so 4 cups of tea! – Hannah
