In general I really liked the way that the book was written and the humor level was pretty high which I enjoyed. However, I felt like I never really connected with the story. I really liked the idea and I was ready to dive in and then it just kind of fell a bit flat. I guess my biggest problem was that I didn’t really feel the extreme connection that Laney and Nate seemed to have. I really did not understand the general conflict and there honestly didn’t seem to really be one which is fine except when an author tries to create one that doesn’t really work. That was definitely overall my biggest issue but otherwise I liked the side characters which definitely added to the story so I’ll give Sylvie Stewart credit for that. Overall it was an okay book not my favorite but I also didn’t hate it so 3 cups of tea. – Hannah
