The Flatshare

Hannah – I loved this book, the characters were really developed because of the time spent separately as in they don’t even really meet each other until like 2/3 of the way through the book. I really liked the fact that the story was told from two very different perspectives because you really got a good feel for the two characters. I had a few little issues as in I found how two of the other characters ended up together but otherwise I really enjoyed this book. Overall I give this book a rating of 4.5 cups of tea.

Zoe – This book was 4 and a half cups of tea for me! I really enjoyed the book and was flying through the pages consuming this story. I loved how the characters were true to themselves and that was reflected in the writing style with the two points of view. The only reason why I took half a cup off is because I’m a sucker for an epilogue and I thought this one was just a little short, and I didn’t quite get to see the characters later on in their lives with each other. I loved the concept and have really not read a book quite like this one, so hats off to the author for something so original!

5 steaming cups of tea! I loved this book, as soon as I finished it I was recommending it to everyone. like how the author showed the truth of gaslighting, and wrote it in a way that felt accurate but wasn’t overwhelming to someone who had never experienced it. I appreciated the slow burn, the reader got to know the characters apart before they were together, which showed you how good they would be together. The novel had many pages, but it didn’t feel long or drawn out! Overall, it was a really fun read that makes a reader feel like they could share a flat and fall in love!
